| I bought this as a gift for my son to go with a Sony MP3 his wife bought him for his birthday. We have two Sony HD TVs and trust the Sony name so I purchased their docking station. This is another exceptional product from them. It is actually smaller than expected which was another plus. |

I ordered this for my Sony walkman X hoping that it was compatible & it is!! It was very easy to set up & play. When I heard it, the sound was amazing. I've been looking for some time for Sony to come out with the docking station for their Sony walkman with great sound & this is it. I am not disappointed at all. It charges up the Sony walkman X & plays the music @ the same time. I love the little remote it comes with & I don't even mind the subwoofer cuz that's what gives the awesome bass for the music. You can hide that easily away from view. The only thing I don't like about is that the power switch is on the subwoofer, not on the remote. Otherwise I love this little docking station with the big sound.

| This sounds so amazing with my sony MP3 player! This is small enough to be portable to bring with you to a hotel or cabin or friends house. Small, but BIG sound! It fills a 500 sqft. space with no trouble at all and could fill a much bigger space as well I believe!! The bass on it is amazing. I love the remote control as well. I love having my mp3 charged and at the ready all the time. Great product from Sony again! |

As you probably know, there aren't many cradle systems for Sony Walkman MP3 players. I bought a series 818 Walkman and wanted something that would recharge the player and allow me to listen to tunes at the same time. I have this system in my large cathedral-ceiling great room, so it has a big job to do. It would be great in a smaller space. The subwoofer goes on the floor, out of sight, and the speaker unit with remote is easy to use. I also have a line-in from my laptop so that I can listen to internet radio stations and that works well. The sound is what you'd expect from a low-watt system, but the separate subwoofer helps considerably.
Overall, if you're looking for a fabulous stero system, this isn't it. If you're looking for a great solution for recharging your Walkman and listening to your music at the same time, say in an office or bedroom, this works much better than the other Sony Cradle Speaker system (which doesn't have a subwoofer). I would buy it again. |
